Grizzly Land Services is currently seeking Acquisition Agents/Landmen for various mineral and leasehold acquisition projects throughout the Lower 48.

Exposure to/experience in the Energy Industry is not required – we will train you on “The Grizzly Way”.

This independent contractor role will be fully remote.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze and Interpret Title Reports and County Records to determine surface and mineral ownership
  • Negotiate for the Acquisition of various Leasehold, Mineral and/or Royalty Interests
  • Prepare Lease and/or Mineral/Royalty Purchase Reports and review/approve legal documents for delivery to mineral and leasehold interest owners
  • Update CRM database for mineral and leasehold interest negotiations and acquisitions

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Comfortable with cold calling
  • Ability to interpret complex legal documents to obtain and understand legal property descriptions
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 3+ years of experience in acquisitions, negotiations and/or sales
  • Previous experience in energy industry is a plus, but not required
  • Must be current AAPL Member in Good Standing (or willing to join AAPL prior to commencement of project(s))
  • Must be Independent Contractor
